"315 Day"
Last summer, FaithSearch launched a ministry
promotion encouraging every church to schedule a “315 Day”
in their annual calendar. The concept is based on 1 Peter
3:15, and makes possible a day in which Christians are prepared
to fulfill more ably the command to “...be prepared to give
an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the
hope that you have.”
The success of the promotion was even greater than we had hoped!
Many churches scheduled events, most of them with multiple
presentations, both for outreach and for nurturing the faith
of believers. As of November 1, sixteen “315” events have
been scheduled, with another twenty-two under discussion. “This
had a major impact in filling our fall schedule,” said Kristi
Wanamaker, who facilitates the events. “Many churches who thought
they couldn’t afford a quality event like ours found out they
really could.” Now the focus is on spring, and good dates are

Discovery event
with evidences for the reliability of the New Testament, the
deity of Christ, and salvation in Him alone. (As an option,
