As a way to deepen our direct involvement in reaching others
for Christ, FaithSearch recently established the
FaithSearch Challenge 500. This prayer effort
allows participants to submit for prayer the name(s) of famliy
members, friends and associates who need to know Jesus.

Each name is written out, and placed on a cross set up in the
FaithSearch offices. FaithSearch
staff and FaithSearch Challenge 500 participants
covenant to pray regularly for these names. When the participant
who submitted the name for prayer reports that the individual
has made a confession of faith in Jesus Christ, their name will
be marked in gold so we can all rejoice together. The gold color
symbolizes the streets of gold awaiting Christ's followers in
heaven.
An electronic representation of this cross is maintained on
this page as a prayer reminder, and as a way for you to monitor
the progress of this prayer venture. For privacy, only first
names and last initial are indicated. (God knows who each inidividual

Here are some suggested prayer ideas:
- Pray for one person each day by name, working your
way through the list. Then start over from the beginning.
Don't give up: keep praying (Luke 18:1; 2 Peter 3:9;
1 Thess. 5:17; Col. 4:2).
- Ask the Lord to grant them His kindness which leads
to repentance (Rom. 2:4).
- Pray for their salvation, that each person will become
a follower of Christ (John 1:12; John 10:26-28; Rom. 10:1,9;
1 John 5:11-12).
- Ask the Father to draw them to Jesus (John 6:44).
- Ask God to work in their circumstances to cause them
to seek Him (Acts 17:26-27).
- Ask for wisdom and opportunity and boldness to share
the Gospel with those you know, and for the Lord to grant
these to others in each person's life (Eph. 6:19-20; Col.
4:3).
- Pray for an opportunity to invite those you know
to attend a FaithSearch event with you, and
that they will come with you (John 1:45-46; John 4:29).

important ministry of prayer. We encourage you to submit names
